David Drake (1945-2023) was an icon in the Military Science Fiction world. He wrote some of the most influential fiction in the genre. His work was honest, gritty, and it touched the lives of many readers and writers.

If you have never read any of his books, make it up to yourself and join this challenge!

Any military science fiction books qualify -- including anthologies and collections. Try to read at least one third from WWEnd's Baen Reader's List of Recommended Military SF and/or from David Drake himself.
