History

Piatkus Books was launched thirty years ago from the spare bedroom of Judy Piatkus' home. Over the years, Piatkus has become one of the UK's leading independent publishers of fiction and lifestyle titles, and now, as part of Little, Brown, continues to bring a wonderful range of books to a wide readership. Our mission is to acquire the best books in each of our core genres, and publish them using the resources we have as part of a large international company as well as the creative flair and passion of the Piatkus team.
