Anyone else pumped for this on 04/08/2024. It is supposed to be directly over where I live. I hope it isn't cloudy!

Very excited! It will be a full view in Dallas too. We've ordered our safety glasses so we're ready.

I have my glasses from the last eclipse. The report was that it wouldn't be very good over my house last time so my wife and I loaded up and drove over to Illinois. We found an abandoned graveyard and set up on a hillside. Of course, an isolated rain storm cam in and obscured everything! Come to find out, everyone at home had a perfect view! I'll try not to screw it up this time!

Once again, I am not in the path of totality but am close enough to drive to it. Not sure that will happen, but I will watch the partial with my telescope which has a lense for observing the sun.
