Uber User Posts: 857 Location: The Wilds of Washington | Lee P - 2019-06-30 6:06 PM Please add Bengal Station by Eric Brown I was going to ask if you meant the Bengal Station trilogy, which is already in, but then I noticed there seemed to be a precursor book. From the blurb it sounds like a first draft, that Brown expanded into the trilogy. It got put in. But since I also noticed a short story in the Bengal Station 'verse, the collection it is in got put in too. Completeness. It's not just OCD.

Regular Posts: 51 | Just checking, are we back to business as usual with book requests? I've got a few things (some noted on previous page plus some further acquisitions + wishlist entries) where I'm not sure if I'd be adding duplicates to the Uber list, if not everything that was lost has been re-added yet.

Yeah, I think we're more or less back to normal. There are still some missing books that need to go back in but we've got the bulk of them by now. New requests are already going in so queue 'em up.

Uber User Posts: 770 Location: SC, USA | Arifel - 2019-06-10 4:40 PM Hi! I'm so glad to see the site is back up and running again and hoping the data reentry process is not too painful. I've been through and added all the books I've read since the "reset" and am noting the ones that aren't currently in the database. Obviously I'm not expecting any miracles! The Call by Peadar O'Guilin The Invasion by Peadar O'Guilin (Lodestar nominated) David Mogo, Godhunter by Suyi Davies Okungbowa The Fire Opal Mechanism by Fran Wilde Pimp my Airship by Maurice Broaddus Peasprout Chen: Battle of Champions by Henry Lien The Very Best of Caitlin R. Kiernan Shadowblade by Anna Kashina Her Silhouette, Drawn in Water by Vylar Kaftan Five Unicorn Flush by T.J. Berry A Hero Born by Jin Yong A Thousand Beginnings and Endings ed. Ellen Oh and Elsie Chapman Seafire by Natalie C. Parker Mother of Invention Ed. Tansy Rayner Roberts and Rivqa Rafael The Half God of Rainfall by Inua Ellams Hi Arifel, I had to go back several pages to find this list. We must have missed it in the reset. If these are not already in, I will start on them soon. And just request any others the regular way. Rhonda

Penelope Whispers of Shadow and Flame by L. Penelope (both of these were originally self published but now being republished by St. Martin's Press - i.e. Macmillan - so hopefully eligible) Meet me in the Future by Kameron Hurley The Resurrectionist of Caligo by Wendy Trimboli and Alicia Zaloga Wolf Light by Yaba Badoe

Member Posts: 37 | Thanks! Yes, Bengal Station was expanded into the first novel of the Bengal Station trilogy Necropath. I'm currently reading Bengal Station then at some point plan to read the trilogy and am curious to see how much different Necropath is from Bengal Station.

I had saved all of the e-mail notifications for the requests which got zapped from the thread, but I didn't go back through the earlier requests which didn't get zapped to ensure that the books were all still there. Thanks for picking this up, Rhondak101.

I also added one more book by Badoe that has won some awards and the sequel to A Hero Born.
