Thanks to whoever's added the Modern Masters of Science Fiction series! Could we get Bujold and Egan added, too?

The Bujold is in. The list I was working from didn't have it yet.
Their will be more books in this series. Undoubted taking several years to finish publishing them.

Fluency, by Jennifer Foehner Wells

I've just gotten this through my library, and it looks really interesting -- 4.2 average on 1,650 Amazon reviews.

It's in.

Thankfully it doesn't happen ofter, needing to put in both an author and a publisher.

I could find nothing on this publisher. Zip. Nada.
With more access like this micro-publishers like this will undoubted become more common.

Thanks for that. Well, I really enjoyed it. Actually, I thought it was great -- except for the sex scene on pages 244-246, which had me rolling my eyes, and which you may or may not want to skip. I love sex -- but in person, not in my SFF. Heinlein, Shepard, Delany, et al -- I have yet to see any SFF writer who I think does it well, such that it doesn't just detract from the plot and the action.

Hey there. Some books I'd like to see turn up soon, especially since some of them would fit into a challenge I'm working on.

The Jackelian series by Stephen Hunt:
1. Court of the Air
2. The Kingdom Beyond the Waves
3. The Rise of the Iron Moon
4. Secrets of the Fire Sea
5. Jack Cloudie
6. From the Deep of the Dark

The Chronicles of Isambard Smith series by Toby Frost
1. Space Captain Smith
2. God Emperor of Didcot
3. Wrath of the Lemming Men
4. A Game of Battleships
5. End of Empires

The Matt Cruse series by Kenneth Oppel
1. Airborn
2. Skybreaker
3. Starclimber

Felix Palma's second book, The Map of the Sky (his first book is already here)

And loving the recent addition of the Wordsworth Editions Tales of Mystery and the Supernatural series. More please! The series is at least twice that big.

Thanks!

His second and third books are now in. Number two was the second of a trilogy, with the third coming out this year. I updated the first book to reflect this.

They're in. Sounds like interesting steampunk. They also remind me of Miyazaki's early work - Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Excellent movie. i wouldn't be surprised if there was influence or inspiration there.

This series is in. It's a wonder what can get done when you have no interruptions and hobbit music booming from the speakers.
What is it with the Brits and parody fiction? They seem to do it far better than the americans.

So true! I'm a huge fan of the Flashman series by George MacDonald Fraser too. Great historical fiction, and fantastic parody.

Thanks all for the help.

Can someone add Iceborn by Gregory Benford? Since it's an Ace Double with The Saturn Game by Poul Anderson, can that one be added as well?

Thanks!

So, what category would this be? It sounds like Twin Peaks meets The Prisoner but without the paranormal. I'm thinking it's not quite right for the site.
