Admin Posts: 4003 Location: Dallas, Texas | illegible_scribble - 2016-01-01 4:53 AM I'd like to make a request for 2016 versions of past challenges: Short Fiction Reading Challenge (novellas, anthologies, and collections) The Women of Genre Fiction Reading Challenge has been renewed for 2016! Glad to see we are still getting interest in this one after 4 years. For the others, if the original challenge host does not take up the gauntlet in the next couple weeks anyone who wants can pick them up. Give 'em a little time to get around to it and perhaps contact them to see if they're still doing them.

Uber User Posts: 263 Location: Gunnison, Colorado | If anyone cares to try a banner for the new "Author! Author!" challenge, go for it. My talents don't lie in that direction... Maybe something like the "SF/F/H" Authors banner that's currently one of the alternating pictures on the homepage? The idea of the challenge is to read multiple books by the same author. Member Posts: 39 Location: Delmarva | Hi, if someone wants to make a banner for the new Today's Random Reads challenge it would be great. I haven't a clue how, and I'm not very picky. I was thinking a pair of dice, but I'm open to just about anything.......Thanks to anyone that helps.

Member Posts: 39 Location: Delmarva | Slot machine good idea too. Instead of showing a win line of all cherries, bars, or whatever. Maybe a win line of the letters R N G? (Random Number Generator) Or T R R? (Today's Random Reads)
