We've just posted a new list to the site:

200 Significant SF Books by Women, 1984-2001

200 Significant SF Books by Women, 1984-2001

I think the title say it all and is a great addition to the site. Check it out and let us know what you think.  How many of those books have you read?

Huge thanks to WWEnders Engelbrecht and valashain who came up with the idea and added all the missing books and authors to complete the list.  Bravo, gents!

Yeah - a new list!

It looks like the creation of this list means that there are now some books that previously had been on three lists but that are now are on four lists and should therefore be added to the top listed list (after which that list will need resorting).  The eight new additions for the top listed list are:

  • #427 - A Woman of the Iron People by Eleanor Arnason
  • #113 - Falling Free by Lois McMaster Bujold
  • #42 - Mirror Dance by Lois McMaster Bujold
  • #101 - Bone Dance by Emma Bull
  • #179 - Sarah Canary by Karen Joy Fowler
  • #159 - Slow River by Nicola Griffith
  • #188 - The Healer's War by Elizabeth Ann Scarborough
  • #65 - Passage by Connie Willis

Hey, I'm at 11% read. That seems about normal.

All the books are showing on the list now but we have some sorting issues to get sorted.  I'll post here when it's fixed.
