It is Stephen King. I love his characters flawed as they are. I did find some of the passages long and my attention wavered mid-book. By the end the story was a real page turner. I do not want to give anything away by saying too much, but this was old school King. Very character driven, with a splash of psychological thriller. A well told time travel story.
