Interesting book with two aspects - normal font and italics. Feels very current (it was published late last year) and the author has considered many aspects of AI. Some assumptions are still made, and I'm glad we don't have this level of AI "playing" the human game - it would probably go nazi, and we have enough of those already.
After finishing the book, I went back and reread only the italicized sections to compare. A number of surprising things didn't make it there (e.g. Evie), though maybe a few should have. The best Rafi wisecracks are here, and the best geek and culture references. This fact is also thought provoking...
I can't really say much more without spoilers. I liked the book, and the second (partial) read increased the rating for me. I can't see myself reading it again, and the author has other books I probably need to read. Recommended.

Finished the book, really interesting. Going to have to reread sections, and the ending - and not sure how I will review in a spoiler-free way. Full rating and review pending...
