Deadline

First, and most importantly, I did like this book. I would have rated it higher, but I did have a couple of issues. 1) Shaun is super annoying. 2) The villains seem a little over the top and their ability to cause that level of destruction with only our little Scooby Gang catching on is a little bit hard to believe. That said, there was a lot to like as well. The secondary characters were really cool, especially Dr. Abbey. I love the whole blogger world, the End of Times staff and I felt more invested in them, then I did with Shaun. The zombie science is particularly well done, very detailed and realistic. Finally, the best part was the action and pacing which kept me completely engaged. For a nearly 600 page book, it flew by. This is an entertaining series to read and I am looking forward to Book 3 and the Novellas.
