Now Wait for Last Year

Smart, schizophrenic. The world and characters are built slow and dramatically, with even a bit of humor through in. It covers a whole range of genres: spy thriller, marriage drama, time travel adventure, space opera. Every twist is stranger than the last yet it all connects quite well. I do wish some of the characters (like Kathy) were treated better; beyond that, it's the most "PKD" I've seen him get. Like Scanner Darkly, it has a chance to grow on me and become one of my favorites.
