The Giver

Although, I got this recommendation from the Apocalyptic group, this seems more like a dystopian novel. It was an easy read but some parts were confusing to me. I won't go into detail because I don't want to spoil the read but I do not understand how peoples senses were changed as well as the weather and physical attributes of the land. The concept was interesting. The definition of "release" was fairly obvious early on. I would like to have seen a better or more complete ending but I guess it works ok as is.
