Really good read, kind of a cross between The Right Stuff and Hidden Figures. My only knock on it is that it centers a lot more on the characters - women becoming astronauts in the chauvinistic 50's & 60's - than on the catastrophe that drives it. It almost seems like a convenient disaster as an excuse for the story. So, in that regard, it's less or lightweight sci-fi. However, don't let that discourage you from reading it, it's still very solid, entertaining fiction.
