Hadn't read a dean koontz novel in years but had enjoyed the Anton yelchin led film when I saw it a couple of years ago. The film is good and the book is very good. Odd is an engaging hero surrounded by a likeable cast of supporting characters. His talents and abilities are logically and consistently conveyed. The overall plot seems terribly prescient given real life tragedies but then is also based on tragedies running all the way back in human history. Overall a rip roaring supernatural thriller.
