Location: Boston, MA | I dont do reviews well, but you guys should read him. I just read a couple of his novels (from '50s! you know, when madmen is happening!) and the writing, ideas and story flow are just amazing. i thought Asimov was a good representative of the golden age and maybe in terms of vastness of ideas he is but Sturgeon beats the c**p out of him in literary writing department. i never 'enjoyed' the reading part of sci-fi reading as much before. do read him. |

| You're right - a far better writer than Asimov. Known more for his short stories which is probably why he didn't get as much recognition.

| More than Human is a wonderful novel. His novellas are also very good. The Joyous Invasions is excellent. |

| I would recommend starting with a collection of his short stories. I've picked up various random old 70's papback collections of his and they've all been very good. I looked at the contents of this collection and it contains many of his great stories so would make for an excellent introduction to his work.
