American Gods the TV series

Am I the only one who thinks it ended in a weird spot? It just felt like a really awkward pause in the storyline. Thoughts? I agree, not the best place to end a season. In fact, I've had to really remind myself that the TV show and the book are two different entities, and don't have to be exactly the same as each other. I'm mostly enjoying the show, and will check out season two.
